I work as a freelance filmmaker, director, journalist and moderator. I also photograph and write. Professionally I grew up in a fast-paced environment where multitasking - and especially working across multiple media - is a real advantage.

My main focus in recent years has been reporting from countries such as Jordan, Saudi Arabia, South Africa and Pakistan. My projects center on human rights, political issues, cultural developments and social questions. I especially enjoy finding protagonists whose voices are often unheard - people whose perspectives challenge existing narratives and offer alternative ways of seeing the world.

​Before working as a freelancer, I gained experience in theaters, at Film Studio Babelsberg and at a production company in Berlin. I studied arts & cultural management and journalism. Languages have always been a passion of mine. I speak German, English, French, Spanish and a bit of Arabic. Looking back, it feels like everything I did and learned along the way has led me to where I am today: behind or in front of the camera, on stage, engaging with real and inspiring people - and finding ways to tell constructive stories.
